> **TL;DR** — Claude bills you for every log line, build dump, and word of play-by-play. hush trims that bulk before it reaches your bill. Install and forget: on the noisy, long engineering work it's built for, sessions run about 15% cheaper and nearly all the play-by-play disappears. Short no-tool questions cost a little more.
